It seems I have another Jaguar for you. It’s a purely staged photo made by a French Armée de l’air attack squadron personnel during a maneuvers in 1980, Base aérienne 106 in Bordeaux-Mérignac.
The jokers from Escadron de chasse 4/11 Jura took the Fiat 500 of a Captain Yvon Goutx commander of the SPA 161 escadrille and paint it in an aircraft camouflage with his initials and number 11-YG, with an escadrille insignia – a sphinx – on the hood. Then they parked the car in the front of his aircraft with an aerial weapons laid out around.
Then the little photo session ensued and now we have a nice photo and a story behind it.
